Just keep in mind you really don't need full coverage to get the full effect. I'm pretty sure anything more then like 65 or 70% isn't necessary. I think I remember reading somewhere that you only need like 70% coverage, but it may have been less. I presume any more then that will just act as a mass-loader, which will help with sound, but it that's not what the product is intended for. If you wanted to cover everything, I would get some SS for the primary 70% coverage, then get some cheaper stuff to add mass. SS is great, works well, but it is expensive and not worth it to do more then one layer imo. Get cheaper stuff to mass-load.

For a back hatch, I would say get 40sqft. I got 30sq feet to do my roof and front doors. I ended up using like less then 15 for the roof and then maybe 8 for both front doors. I didn't cover everything though, only the parts that actually cause problems like big, flat surfaces.

EDIT: Actually, 40 might be more then you need for the whole back hatch area and doors. But I guess it can't hurt to have extra.

For the hatch and doors I'd say that you'd probably need at least a bulk pack. That is 37sqft but you may end up needing more in the long run. I just placed an order with Ant for a trunk pack and 80 spl tiles. I plan on doing my doors, hatch floor, and hatch. I already have 20sqft as it is and will be doing a bit more when it's all said and done.
