Torres Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 switch the port height and port width around and keep slot port checked. the height figures in end correction and you're adding extra length that's really not there which lowers your tuning making it inaccurate. should still be close..but not as good Quote

Right now, you are at ~8.66 cuft net tuned to 36.5 Hz. I would mke that port 17" long giving you ~8.2 cuft net tuned to ~32-33 Hz. Ben Building Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 That port "looks" about right to me. A port in a huge 9 cf enclosure doesn't need to be as long as one in a smaller box to reach the same tuning frequency. Why are you using the enclosure wall as one wall of your port? Quote
