General Posted June 3, 2011 Author Report Share Posted June 3, 2011 Started with the rebuild of my trunk.... Project "Tight Fit" has started! I managed 148,8dB at 42Hz with this sub, but that wasn't enough. Furthermore i wanted to play the lower notes (till 20Hz) at high volume, so i had to change my box size and port. It worked out, but the peak score collapsed and i couldn't reach my topscores again. I knew that would happen, because i used a TREO CSX15.22 that was specially build to win the worldrecord dBdrag a decade ago... This sub can't play below 60Hz, but i have forced it to 40... and now even to 20Hz! Now i quit with this TREO, and change it to something more extreme! So, i switched my tiny 15" TREO for this big SOLOX..... With some modifications to the box it fitted like a glove: Did you notice there is no space left? My whole trunk is now subwoofer and/or port! But i have changed my port now (because i want to compete in PropperDroppers (20hz, 25hz, 33hz and 40hz....total average creates the score) But now the SPLpeak felt down to earth.
