Visit www.showyoursound.nl That's a Dutch (The Netherlands!!! NOT Germany!!!) website with a very active forum. (with a translation Dutch to English) But it is mostly SQ orientated. There is also a database with thousands cars with their instals. (You can find that at the top of the screen) And... It would be great if you guys go there and upload your own showcase. Washed my car today

I do 148,8dB (sensor at windshield) with a single 15" TREO strapped on a GroundZero GZPA1.5000spl (5Kw @ 1ohm) (i recently changed the 1.5000 for a GZPA1.8000 (8Kw @ 1 Ohm) but didn't a official score yet) You can find my complete build log somewhere at the SMD forum

Answer to your openingspost and your latest question: Nothing! You can use the biggest, brutal subwoofer and still use it for SQ! It all depends on the box! Just create a lineair responsing box. (the flat sound stage wich was refered to) And use Real-Time-Analising (RTA) measurment to connect it to the kicks/mids en highs of your system.

Forget the pre-out Voltage... I've just one easy question: Why do you think they tuned your amplifier wrong?
