Whats up yall,

Im about to be putting a slammin system under the seats of my 04 extended cab gmc 1500 sierra, lifted and everything, its a beast! I have decided on 2 level 3 dc sound lab 12's with an audioque AQ1200D amp, and the only way I have found to fit those subs with enough mounting depth and air space under the back seats without doing a blowthrough box is to do forward firing box. What do you tihnk of that? How does foward firing sound, and should I wourry about peoples feet hitting my subs in the backseat? I can probably figure out some sort of thing to put infront of the subs to stop people from hitting them......

So what do you think, how will it sound with

im not a pro but let me tell you that pre fab box is probably not the best for those subs and just them not to kick it.

if u do that put an electric fence up so when peoples ankles get to close it shocks the piss out of them so then u wont have damaged speakers, but i forsee a damaged speaker by a foot

dont do the prefab box build one. it will be fine to fire them foward but its been said you might want to put something there to protect them from peoples feet. maybe make a cage to go in front of the box so they wont be kicked

R.I.P '01 blazer you treated my ears well until your transmission blew up.

Yeahhh!!!!! Sounds good haha, ill prolly do something to make it look good too, like some sort of plexiglass cage with cutouts all over it so the sound can get out like a chain link fence, and put some LEDS in it or something..

haha man these guys cant read minds, we have no idea how loud "you" think they will be/ should be. RE makes great subs as well, so just go with what u want more.
