Noobs to this kinda stuff arent lookin for critisizm... Theyre lookin for help.. Klien Do more research "READ" everything you can find about walls, Then when you have a general knowledge of how the basic physics of subwoofer tech. Then tell us your thoughts. Daily groundpounder id tune to 29-34 for BTLs SPL - Id shove at least 4k into each sub and tune to 36 to the UPPER 40s (if you still want to play music)and restrict the port area a bit. Again Reading helps....... Let us know what you come up with
dr hypothesis Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 My wall is 13.75 Cubes, 35hz tune, 200" of port. For some reason my car creates a nice peak at 31hz. You'd be suprised how low and loud you can get while still tuning in the mid 30s. I mean if you have never walled off a car then of course you are going to have questions, that doesn't mean the guy cant give it a shot. That is why he is asking. That is the whole point of this forum is to help people that share a common interest. I'm not trying to be an ass here, but it seems that saying "you don't know so why should I tell you?" is pretty weak.

Neo_frog Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Yeah dude. It's all about trial and error. You can ask any of the vets on here about my five or six FAILED build logs on here lol. My first attempt at my own wall was 16kW on four 12s SPL and I cooked my entire electrical. The first response I ever got was "PICS of FAIL". Don't let it get you down. I suggest building that bitch over and over until you get it right. BUT...just build a "daily" wall first. Don't shoot for SPL just yet because there is a LOT involved with pure numbers. pm me for any tips or things to look for.
