To hell with it..Its like trying to polish a turd...I am just gonna save up some money and buy an OEM Trunk lid...Expanding foam probably would stiffen it up the way it needs to be, but it would still flex..and proably crack more even if I put resin in it...I thought about it the whole way out of town today..Just gonna suck it up and say Seibon trunks and hoods are for Trailer queen Tuner trash...Not for the Everyday Tuner trash...You can't go wrong with Metal and concreate...

Seibon are some of the best but they arent made for what we use our cars for bass wise. hood wise i dunno if i just had bad ass luck or if CF hoods just plain blow.

So David you have had experience with the expanding foam method...Judging from my pictures you think it is possible to reduce the flex by drilling small holes and filling it slowly with the expanding foam..Then when that is done Dynamat the underside...My trunk is fibergass with a layer of carbon fiber on top..Did it help with your flex issues? THIS IS TEMPORARY UNTILL I CAN SAVE UP AND GET THE METAL>>>

yea my fiberglass trunk still flexxed but it was alot better, yea I would do it if it was mine.

I did it but the foam expanded so much that it pushed waves into the top of the lid... Oh well, I even took my time did a little at a time...Time for those destruction videos...
