I got 13.8 on both sides of the fuse and 1.8 at the amp. The only thing coming to my mind is a bad ground (which is bolted on a frame piece). Any ideas. Mosin Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Assuming you have a multi meter check to see if your ground is good. Turn vehicle off, put one probe of mutimeter of current amp ground and other probe on known vehicle ground. IIRC if it rests at 0.05 or less you have a good ground. Just make sure multimeter is set to 'ohms' Quote Derp.

tdc3187 Posted February 21, 2010 Author Report Posted February 21, 2010 I have a clean run of rockford fosgate 1/0 to the trunk, The 1/0 goes to a distribution block and breaks to 4AWG and then to the amp. I'll check the ohm's of the ground in a little bit. Mosin Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 (edited) Well i can assume that .9 is a bad ground. but I tried putting the ground pin on the trunk latch and was still getting a .91, trunk bolts were a little above 1.1xx. Sand the paint and primer to bare metal too ensure quality ground. IIRC grounding to a bolt thats already on the vehicle i.e. seat belt bolt isn't a good ground. Edit: Is it reading .9 or .09?
