I kno i have the 9007 bulbs and i want 8k hids. Do i just need the HID kit or will i need a wiring harness kit also?? Moore941 Posted February 25, 2010 Report Share Posted February 25, 2010 you shouldnt need the harness i have an 01 and all the research i have found doesnt display a need for the harness for our trucks, its mainly for the new rams and hemi style dodges as far as i can tell and i plan on ordering a set this week from ddmtuning.com as well the prices are too good to pass up. if u want a deep blue i would consider a 55w 8 or 10k kit the 55w washes out some of the color but it quite a bit brighter from the kits ive seen installed on several different versions of out truck. For headlights, stock will work fine, im gonna end up getting some new ones soon as mine are all fucked up but my ultimate goal is to retrofit a new set of euro style headlight with projectors.
