ehall8702
just some of the stuff i have laying around, i have other stuff, but idk if it would even be considered old school. but most of this stuff i have owned for quite some time i Have a set of the Boston pro 5.5 LF's in my front doors right now! Long since toasted the tweeters and X-overs but have Boston x-overs and tweeters from some RC2's i think that work great. Those woofers are some of the baddest i have ever seen. I even built a small sealed box for the 2 woofers and was beating on them with a mtx 150.2 as SUBS! sounded really good actually never did blow them and just gave up and stuck them in the closet till i needed a set for my Gran Marquise 2009 Silverado 1500, 7.5" lift, 37x12.50r17s, Built Gen 4 5.3L ( 4.8l flat pistons, decked 243s, SS2 Cam, Pac 1218 springs, ported intake, 120mm TB, Long tubes, 3" duals HP tuner software tuned by me), 4l80e swapped and 4.56 gears. All done by me. stereo is Pioneer avh 600ex, all stinger rca, jp23 v1.5, skar rp150.4, and hertz hpd4. 2 SHCA 6.5 8ohm, 1 SHCA 3.5", and 1 DS18 tw120pro in each door. The 3.5 mid and 3.5" tweeters are powered by the skar rp150.4, the 6.5s are powered by the hertz bridged @4 ohms. Dual runs of 3/0 welding cable, 300a alternator, 2 Vmax AGMs up front. current sub is a AB XR 12 ( dual 2 ohm) with bottom spider cut out in 2.25 cubes at 32hz

Robb
I went to a local thrift shop and found one of these Blade Avanti VTH100 Tube amp. It's in near mint shape. Works perfect, few blemishes ontop, nothing big. One of the hardest amps to come by. There was only 25 of them ever made before the company went bankrupt. Made in Canada. Retail was $3000 Back in 1993. Blade Avanti VTH100 This one sold last year for $1026 ! Robb
Dropped into an old skool stereo shop recently here in Toronto called Stereo king. They had all kinds of new old stock car amps, telephones and some stereo equipment. Picked up a new old stock Mitsubishi CVX-3 amplifier, Made in Japan, fresh from 1986 Paid only $40 for it. Here's the catalog from 1986. Robb
After a long search, numerous bumping threads, I finally got my Holy grail Alpine 7909 30th anniversary model, #291/300. Thanks to this forum, someone had contacted me stating they had a mint in box unit. I paid $700 shipped which was fair. Anyways, I havent installed it yet, so heres some pics. 1990 Crx - Clarion DRZ9255 - Zapco Studio 50 & 100 - Kicker nd25a - Morel Elate 6 1991 Civic - Alpine 7909 - Zapco Studio 150 - Zapco z300C2 - Boston RC61 - Mtx slx2 - Kicker s12D sub
