raytard
word thanks..does anybody know whats the difference between rca and subwoofer cable? sub out is very low power, just a signal. if you hooked it to a woofer it wouldnt do much of anything. its a signal line to drive a sub amp Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC

KenChapin
The RCA/pre-amp output on your reciever is meant to send audio signal to a separate amplifier for your sub. If you have a powered subwoofer, just plug an RCA cable into the "Sub out" and the other end goes into the input of the sub amplifier. Alot of powered subs also have speaker level inputs. To use those, plug your front left and rear speaker leads in, and run another set back out to the front speakers. Not sure if this info is what you were looking for, but I hope it helped. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
