Lowroll
So I recently bought a 99 Tahoe (square body) All it had in it was some MB quart comps in the back doors & a pair of MB tweeters in the A-pillars. Id like to do a SQ mids/highs setup in this truck but im not sure what to do. Im looking for suggestions on what speakers to go with and also what amps to power them. I was thinking comps in the front/rear doors & also a set in the pillars & maybe 2 midbass speakers in the back speaker locations with 2, 4 channel amps to run it all? would I benefit from a center channel speaker? All I have planned for right now is a Pioneer DEH-P7100BT HU, id apprectiate your guys input! Thanks Current System: Pioneer 6900 HU Front Stage: (for now) Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs Bass: 4 Soundstream RW-12's 2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's single chamber box, 2.65 cubes. Currently under the knife being bagged Rebuilding err'thang
wolfpack
if you can afford them i would get a set of MB quart Q series, they are loud and clean, online their about 900 a set so they are spendy, my friend has them and just one door was louder then my whole car with the sub off. and the nice thing about MB quart is they dont need that much power. my friend has his running off a rf punch 400/4 2010 Subaru Impreza Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD 2 10" Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2 Audison LRx 1.1K superglue a dildo to the center of the cone....lube it.....then have that dumbass sit on it while playing a 10hz note haha, this reminds me of a paintball sticker i have "my balls slap at 300fps" now I want a sticker that says "i fuck at 10hz"

Lowroll
I have heard hertz speakers in a SQ firebird about 2 years ago. They were really clean now that I think all the way back. Focal or MB quart woulsd be nice but, I do have to spend wisely. Id love to go all out & spend every last penny on this build but I just cant. Im gonna do what I can to make it a really clean setup without buying the best of the best. I do apprecite the suggestions though. its giving me good ideas. Is $220-$300 about the price they run? if so that doesnt seem too bad.
