Crump Posted March 8, 2010 Report Share Posted March 8, 2010 You need a torch, 60/40 rosin core colder, and a clamp/pliers to keep the wire in place. Just heat the back of the terminal for 15-25 seconds then just push the solder into the other side of the ring (where wire is), and just keep doing that, the wire should pull the solder down into the wire, if it doesnt just heat the ring a little lower cuz the solder goes where the heat is. Then let it cool for a minute, then what i do to cap it, is cut a good amount of wire wrap it a small tight ball and put that on top then just heat it and it usually caps it pretty good. Maybe this isnt the best way but it works for me.
