chapo123 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 hey im about to get a new amp and i just joined because i heard DAT 2500.1s are really good amps. i have a couple questions.. i have a 12 fi btl fully loaded.. would this amp be good for it? or too much? i currently have a autotek 1900.1 and its 1900rms at 1 ohm. would i notice a big difference if i switched?? and also i saw on some pics.. is has dual 0 gauge input?? wtf? would it be okay if i only used one?? thanks for helping me.. also how much does a used 2500.1 go for?? would it be worth selling my current amp and getting it?? im only worried about the dual 0 gauge thing.. thanks Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal? heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history. I have seen plenty of people use our HF2500 on the Fi product with great results. As far as the double power and grounds and only using one set, we don't suggest it. The dual inputs were designed to help get a good amount of current into the board to make power out.
