kanes_disciple
I got a stinger volt meter and was wondering whats the best way to wire it up. I know it takes a constant power, remote, and ground so I was thinking I could wire it right into my headunit but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated! Ram
My first one is wired positive and negative directly to my front battery, and remote to a switch. My second one is wired power and ground to my amp, and remote to a switch.
kanes_disciple
My first one is wired positive and negative directly to my front battery, and remote to a switch. My second one is wired power and ground to my amp, and remote to a switch. So your saying to run wires directly to my battery for the most accurate reading? What about the remote to my ignition? My second one is wired power and ground to my amp, and remote to a switch. Wire it so the power is hooked up to your power going into your amp, that way it reads the actual power at your amp so you can see what power is actually being fed to your amp. Ground it wherever the closest solid grounding spot would be and whichever is easier wire the remote turn on to the headunit remote turnon or to your amps remote that way you dont have to mess with switches and it will just turn on when your amp or HU is on 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts

I HAVE MINE WIRED GROUND, AND REMOTE TO THE HEADUNIT AND POSITIVE TO THE AMP, REASON FOR THAT IS BECAUSE MY HEADUNIT HAS VOLTMETER DISPLAY OF MY BATTERY.
