I have been wanting to upgrade my stereo on my s10 and I dont know what to do to my electrical...I plan on running 3-4 amps...850.2 and 350.4 for mids/highs and about 2500.1 for bass...I plan on buying one 270 amp alt but I dont know if i need 2...also I dont know know how many batteries I need. I have a yellowtop under the hood right now. also how many runs of 0 gauge..thanks

treossi Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 amg batteries are of the sealed non spillable type, such as xs power batteries, kinetik batteries batcap batteries i like xs power, stay away from optima batteries check out mechman.com for batteries also for 0 gauge, you would probably need atleast 2 runs of positive from the front of the car to the back of the car where your other batteries should be, do the same for negatives, grounding to the chassis is for noobs Team sundownWESTCOASTSPL.COM we're throwing dbdrag events very soon visit the website for details
