imupabove
i know most people would recommend other brands out there, and that will probably eat this alt alive. but tell me what you think about this alt for my ride. http://www.maniacelectricmotors.com/hiou140amp19.html iDA-X200/Clarion EQS746 RF T500-1bd (2) 12" RF HX's Kicker 350.4 Alpine & Polk Speakers Stock electrical

Mine does that at idle. You should check out http://www.dcpowerinc.com if you're looking for a true high output alternator *your mom* <- your mom is my signature! daaaaaaang! vaughn
you got one battery and one alt right? how are your voltages looking? dimming? I have no dimming. But I also did the big three with 1/0, even 1/0 all the way back to my amp. Couple that with a high current dry cell and you've got yourself a pretty solid electrical system. *your mom* <- your mom is my signature! daaaaaaang! vaughn
I run the 1800 as well, but the wiring is just as important. Often times people will have a nice battery, a nice alternator but running 8 gauge wire (or running stock) which can cause voltage issues (dimming, most commonly). *your mom* <- your mom is my signature! daaaaaaang!
