But it wouldnt hurt to put the rubber between although i dont know how much those little bushings would help, really. If you can spare the space i would say your safe. You'll usually be ok but if the amp has the unfortunate combination of vertical MOSFETs and TO-247 parts you risk snapping them off and the amp blowing up in a rather nasty way.
