Child Protective Services didn't care if our parents beat us. As a

matter of fact, the parents of all my friends also had permission

to kick our a**! Nowhere was safe!

There were no MP3's or Napsters or iTunes! If you wanted to steal

music, you had to hitchhike to the record store and shoplift it

yourself!

The game just kept getting

harder and harder and faster and faster until you died! Just

like LIFE!

If you were luckily, you got the "safety arm"

across the chest at the last moment if she had to stop suddenly,

and if your head hit the dashboard, well that was your fault for

calling "shot gun" in the first place!

shit im 37 and can still remember if the street light came on during sun-thurs you better be in the house and fri and sat we stayed out till sun came up. never figured that out though. i guess my mom figured all the child molesters took the weekend off. i remember buyin my first sony walkman. (cassette) sporting swatch watches. a system in your car consisted of taking the house speakers and puttin them in the car.shit for a matter of fact really didnt know what rap was. didnt even like bass. turn the treble up and listen to whatver was on the radio. the song that got me hooked was beepers by sir mix alot and i aint tripping by 2short. those where the times. for 5 bucks i could get a pack of smokes and hamburger from mcds and a coke.

the one phone part got me cuz we only had one phone but the cord was 20' long and you had to u twist it

to go in the other room. pitfall was great but how bout them things called "pin ball machines" hahaha

still remember flattening out pennies so we could play all day,well until the DQ owner figured it out.

the whole house speakers in the car never worked for me,my booster didnt have enuf boost.

im 41 btw,my kids love my bass habit. the wife,not so much, its always to loud.

I remember when I was younger, arcades were awesome. Now-a-days, all that's there are some lame shooting games and ticket games. BTW, awesome arcade games = Shinobi, Bad Dudes, Double Dragon, and Street Fighter.

I remember getting blisters on my hands from the rubber on those old 2600 controllers. Man it's crazy to think how much things have changed.
