imupabove Posted March 12, 2010 Report Share Posted March 12, 2010 (edited) hello. i got 2 12" type r's. looking on getting a custom ported box. i know someone that makes custom boxes. he can build be one for $160 (maybe $150), but that is without the carpet. i think he will charge me an extra $30. OR i can get this prefab box for $150 im looking at on ebay check it out: dual ported box.<-- you think this box will hit the lows notes good? that is what im aiming for. and oh the guy is going to double baffle (3/4 mdf) the box. honestly i dont know how to put carpet on a box, but if you know cheap and easy way to do please let me know. and no i dont want to make the box on my own, pretty sure its a great learning experience but i dont have the tools yadada. thanks for your time.
