Guest Posted March 13, 2010 Report Share Posted March 13, 2010 (edited) it depends on the company... most cases a 10k 35 watt is comparable to 8k 55w i found a picture on DDMtuning's site that showed how 55w ballasts "wash out" the color of the bulbs more than 35w ballasts. futurevision confirmed it. ddmtuning also said that you would need a higher kelvin bulb on the 55w ballast to match the color output of a lower kelvin bulb on a 35w ballast. edit: i would get the picture but ddm's site is down....
