AudioGuru
That is bad ass... Loved those old Skool PPI Amps... Where did you get those big ass Power Distribution Blocks??? I made several sets of them for all the cars I built. Had them gold plated and tapped them to accept allen head screws to secure the cables. You will see them again in the "C-Rex" pics I will post. The C-Rex is a walled up CRX we built with 12-10" subs then 6-15's in a following build. AudioGuru
Cut and test fitted the floor and side panels of the enclosure. Time to start assembling the outside panels. I know that people might look at the next few pictures and say I should have used thicker material or mitered the corners. As you will see in the upcomming photos, I had to use .75" MDF for the top, bottom and sides to maximize the port area and allow the woofers to fit. There's less room in there than you might think. Also, all the joints will be glued and grabber screwed. Some serious panel bracing will be used to tie everything together. Its going to be super strong. AudioGuru
I had to mock up the woofers again to verify the angle that the baffles would be cut at. I used several blocks of wood to get the angle just right. The woofers will have to be cut into the top and bottom .25". Test fitting the first 1 1/8" thick baffle layer. AudioGuru
Time to cut some woofer holes. Radius edges looks awesome. Test fit again. Starting the second layer of the baffle. Please note: safety glasses work better when they cover your eyes.
