xtremeacoustiks
While it looks totally sweet I have a suspicion it's gonna be weaksauce on a meter :< For the same reason that my car is... epic phasing problems. Actually just removed the subs from here to the fiberglass box ported and in the previous setup was doin around a 155 to 156 sealed never had any phasing issues www.bassproducers.com TEAMS TEAM BASSPRODUCERS, TEAM HERTZ (VA) *Ranger System* (4) 18" Kicker Comp (4) 10" Kicker Comp Dual Stinger Alts. Boon
Actually just removed the subs from here to the fiberglass box ported and in the previous setup was doin around a 155 to 156 sealed never had any phasing issues That box has essentially 1 wave to contend with due to the V probably acting as a compression chamber. You have 4 waves to contend with here - the 3 faces of woofers and the rear wave from the port - and no real method of combining them with any guarantee of them being constructive. Free-space it would probably work, but honestly I bet it will do what mine does... loud as fark to the ear but doesn't do well on the Termlab. 10.x volts fo' life!
