XS Power D3100?

Recommended Posts

I have my BTL 18 on order, and I'm ditching the Planet Audio BB2400 because I've heard some pretty horrible things about them from people who have used them. I'll be going with a Cresendo 3KWP amp that I saw someone talking about on here (internals same as Sundown), which spec'd out at 3,370W @ 1ohm @ 13.8V but I'll only be using about 2.5kw (giving myself room to upgrade in the future). I'm going with a Irragi 260 alt, and a Optima yellow top up front, but what batts would you guys recommend for the rear? I have room for 1... maybe 2 if im lucky.

I will also be running a RF P400-4 on the mids and highs pulling about 180-200W so all together ill be pushing around 3kW.

Do you guys think that one XS Power D3100 would do the trick? These are some pretty beastly batts!

XS D3100 is a great batt and I am sure it would do wonders as a second battery.

But to build to full potential, i also recommend an appropriate sized XS batt up front and ditch the yellow top.

I would ditch the yellow top and go all XS Power. 3400 up front with a 3100 in the back should be good for 4k rms with the alt you have.

damn Ed...great minds think alike.

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

think a 3400 would fit man? These s10's dont have a lot of room to play with.

Yea I am sure it would. I have one under the hood in my Impala, fit perfect.
