Pioneer~Saturn
Thanks guys...this should be a hair-trick machine Got the front, top piece made for the ceiling...predrilled the holes and got to foaming and realized im dumb and didnt want the normal-expanding foam under my sunroof so I pulled it and got the window stuff to just seal around it... Im so glad I got these bars welded in, theyre very handy for mounting the horn/ceiling to... Got some final touches with some caulk to seal up the sunroof well...dont want leaks once I have the inside covered and sealed... And im going out for some drinks tonight so no real progress...meh more as it happens Team Tupperware <First dual-alternator 'real' Saturn (pre-2002) on the planet>(3) 15" Fi SP4's fed by (2) M3a's strapped @ .66712.75 cubes net @ 25Hz with 200 sq inches of port area (lowz...?)Stock alt position (custom bracket) 225 amp Mechman Roof = steel and fiberglass (u mad?)(2) XS Power D3100's, (2) rhino batts, No battery upfront (for now, smh)4 power+ 4 ground runs of 1/0-gauge to rear"If its been done before...you're doing it wrong" : ) "stfu about scores and float $hit..." Pioneer~Saturn
Alright, Front piece in and got foam around the edges (not in pics).. From the back...the pieces coming from the back will mate-up here and will be screwed into the 2nd bar that was welded into place... The port opening...getting the foam a bit cleaned up Cut out some ribs that I will fiberglass accross to make the bottom of the horn.. Getting ready to mount them... Mounted... And that instant bond holds them strong...I could rock my car back n forth holding onto one and it didnt budge. I may not have a ton of progress for a while because I will be needing the rear window pulled so I can make a scaffolding of sorts over my trunk to be able to lay down and fiberglass from the port overtop these ribs and add plenty of layers for stength and sand it all smooth before I continue...I also have a few boxes to make.
