pthrift
So I took my truck to a local shop; and asked 'em to meter it for me...the biggest thing I was looking for was what freq. to play the system at; for an upcoming spl event. But the truck did a suprisingly high number. (not gonna say what; it's irrelevant to the topic.... Not to mention I didn't take pics or vids for proof; lol) and the guys at that shop claim the meter is "tough.... Like the usaci sensor" but that I deemed to be a loaded statement.... Define tough; ya know I also know calibration plays a big role here; but is a score on an audio control meter usually respectable; or is it garbage like some of the other meters I see talked about so often. (obviously I know the right answer is get on a tl and compare for myself; but I'm curious..... Or is this impossible to answer) Clicky for build log.... 2002 Tahoe DC Power Inc 3 alt bracket with 2x230a. alts 1 stock Eclipse CD5030 2 JL HD 600/4 4 Rockford Fosgate 2500bdcp's 4 DC Audio 18" XL's 4 Pr MB Quart Premium Components 200FT Stinger HPM 1/0 Rockford 360.2 No where near enough sound deadening

cqtama
to my understanding a termlab actually measures pressure, not sound, making it more reliable than an audiocontrol since the ac needs to be calibrated and is only as good as the person doing the metering. thats just my understand though i could be wrong R.I.P '01 blazer you treated my ears well until your transmission blew up.
