k3n12ock
Was bored and figured since I need to fix the front steps on the house I would draw it up in sketchup first. Basically the front steps are concrete and winter busted them up pretty good. I'm basically going to use some wood and build around the existing concrete and add a small deck like structure to fit a chair or two. The whole flat/back side will be against the house. Took me a while to get everything set but finally finished. Here's some pics. Hopefully I'll be starting on this project in a week or two, pending the weather. It'll be a pain in the ass to bust up all the existing concrete... but it might happen. It's not completely busted, just some cracks and all. Also depends on how my brother and brother in law want to tackle it as well. I figure building around the existing concrete will give us a solid base/frame and go on from there.
