N1GHT
So, I just recently found out a friend of mine can get Q-Pads Sound Deadener 12x12 box of 6 for around 12 bucks. See link. http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/fib117.html Im just wondering if this will be just as good as Dynamat as it doesn't have that silver lining. Anyone ever heard used this and if so how good does it work?

kirill007
The silver lining is most of the time aluminium, to make the panels stronger thus having less flex=less ratle. I think these deadeners are just to block the sound but not to stop rattles. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
