Is building something along the lines of what Steve did in Chickens caddy with 8 SMDs a possibility?

Don't think any vehicle is wide enough to do that

edit: w/ stud 2 subs are 33". now add at least 4" of mdf for that type of enclosure, then port dimensions. don't see it happening

What's up everybody..once again , thanks for your input on my build. After talking things over with Ed, Nick from AA and some others I have decided to redo my setup and build a wall..most likely a clamshell but I will know definitely soon. The old setup was just punishing the amps. Nick was gracious enough to personally recone my sub and I should have it back soon. Ed has a lot going on right now so he won't be able to put in as much time as he did before so I reached out to Ric from Pulse car audio and he is willing to help me out along with Ed when he can. Ric is on this forum too so all the 3 of us will keep you updated. The best part is that our goal is to have it done by Oct. 15th so the pics will be coming fast and furious. Ric has built some really loud, dependable and purrrty cars and trucks so I know he's more than capable of this job. Oh yeah..I'm redoing the doors too so overall it will be a tad bit louder.

I will try and take as many pics as I can... but with a tight deadline... my main focus is on getting this done, and performing.

I love that licence plate Trippi. It's a shame you are already having to do a rebuild. It's a shame you won't be able to bring it down to the USACi finals, they are the Oct 15th-18th in Louisiana.
