the jl costs more, so it must be better. everyone knows jl. only enthusiasts know treo.

so if you want to be cool, jl.

if you want to spend less money, have a woofer that will eat twice the power, and sound just as good (SQ is in the box and install) go with treo

Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build

monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now)

never heard the treo, but I have a 12w7, I like it, but its very power hungry, and you should expect to have a serious amp to run it, if I could id sell both my 12w7's and get a 15 or 18 fi, re, audioque, or dc. I use a t1500bd amp.

I'd hit you with a JL sub if I could.

"Does it hit very hard??" If I had a penny for every time I've seen that on here in regards to a woofer.. I'd have enough to buy Steve's truck. And then some.

It's all in the box. You could have a shitty box for a W7 12 and a great box for a walmart Dual 12 and the dual would probably out perfrom the JL.

PM Forum Asshole about designs. He'll make you one.. for a few bucks

I think of it as the virgin losing the virginity technique

not just jumping in to it, and pounding away, but going at it slowly over time, to get to that full extreme
