Chris2k6Chevy
Hello, I am getting a 2k6 Silverado ext cab. Would like to put a decent sound system in , but I don't want to ruin the capability of seating 6 ppl since my family is going to consist of 6 ppl soon... I know they make an under seat box, and I like that idea. Has anyone had one of these boxes in a ext cab truck and how does one sound. or is there a better way to utilize the space underneath the rear seats? -Hobby-
You can get pre fab under the seat setups or build one yourself. I built the one I had under my back seat. It wasnt an SPL monster but it did bump pretty good. Mine was a single 10" box behind the drivers seat and I put my amp under the other side. Jared420
Definatley make a nice ported box. I bought a prefab piece of junk for 2 jl 12 w3s and only had about 300 rms on each and it sounded clean but was not loud at all. I think the airspace was a bit too small though i think 2 10s ported on a good amount of power will do pretty good.
