I am doing a installation for a customer. He has a 1997 Grand Prix GTP and he wants 4 12s American Bass XD subs, 4 Alpine MRP-M650 amps ( 1 per sub running at 2ohms), a JL Audio ZR525-CSi Component system and a Alpine MRP-F450 amp to run the speakers. I can get everything else except for the fact that i need to choose which kind of batteries i should go with. Please tell me what will be the best option.

I know you are about to get rained down with everyones opinions and such, so I will go ahead and take a few from some people and say Kinetik Batteries are the shit. I have two of them.

I would say get two HC2400's. Or maybe an HC1800 up front and a 2400 in the back.

He could probably get away with not doing the alternator, but be sure to do the big three though. If money permits, then I would upgrade to a 240 or 300 amp alternator from Iraggi.

An alternator will help out alot.....Just out of curiosity. What kind of installer are you, if you don't seem to know much about what all is needed and involved?
