davidr Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 The 360 uses triple 3.2ghz cores though so they aren't too far off from eachother. Quote cdr
Amalan Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 The 360 uses triple 3.2ghz cores though so they aren't too far off from eachother. right but theres so many other factors that come into play. if you ran intels quad core with couple of 7900gtx in sli its gonna be like twice as good as 360 Quote
davidr Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 That is true, but I was just making a point because Xbox 360 and dual cores were mentioned. Just making sure everyone knew its processing power. I gave up on consoles after buying a PS2 the first day they came out. CPU's > Consoles any day. Quote cdr
Amalan Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 yea but the 360 beats any computer in its price range sooo i guess thats why alot of people do console gaming but me personally i like the feel of a controller than a mouse and keyboard Quote
davidr Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 I do too but not enough to buy an HD TV to take advantage of the latest consoles. I'm more of a FPS gamer so I like the mouse and keyboard. Quote cdr
Amalan Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 ah gotcha yeah new consoles show their pinacle of performance on hdtvs been trying to hook up my computer to my tv but it looks awful as shit. resolution blows balls but im gonna wait till newegg finishes rmaing my vid card so i can return this one Quote
