maniac74
I figured i would show my box build as this is my first ported enclosure. specs: FI Q 18 replacing old setup of 2 p3 fosgate 12's Vehicle: 99 chevy suburban Box: 8 cubes 138 sq in of port tuned at 34hz (James Design) 47"w 22"h 20"d I cut all the boards first then put the main structure together test fit of the port clamped the baffles together and cut the inside hole first, with a jigsaw ftl. used plenty of glue all the way around. after cutting both baffles, time to glue both peices together. plenty of glue and screws to complete the baffles. i drilled offset holes across the whole front for the screws, and of course plenty of glue. final install of the port caulked the whole inside of the box before installing the top. pre drilled the top before glueing and installing the final peices completed box with 1" wood dowel installed in the center for bracing. thats it for now, i will be making an amp rack and carpeting the box soon. let me know what you guys think. 99 suburban 20" boss motorsport wheels big 3 installed (thanks Iraggi) alpine 9886 deck kenwood 11 band eq fosgate t5002 amp running sub kenwood ps200 amp running components jl xr components in front doors jl xr 6.5 in rear doors jl in rear roof 1 FI Q 18" with bp enclosure 8 cubes 138 sq" port 34hz Iraggi 220 ho alt (RF 1500bd coming soon)
