Recommended Posts

I figured i would show my box build as this is my first ported enclosure.

specs: FI Q 18 replacing old setup of 2 p3 fosgate 12's

Vehicle: 99 chevy suburban

Box: 8 cubes 138 sq in of port tuned at 34hz (James Design)

I cut all the boards first then put the main structure together

test fit of the port

clamped the baffles together and cut the inside hole first, with a jigsaw ftl.

used plenty of glue all the way around.

after cutting both baffles, time to glue both peices together.

plenty of glue and screws to complete the baffles.

i drilled offset holes across the whole front for the screws, and of course plenty of glue.

I think he is talking about on the inside of the port, in the picture it looks like a small split at the bottom.

Very nice for your first box bro!
