The fusion is a hard car to work with. There's not a lot of aftermarket parts out for it and they haven't responed well to turbocharging due to issues with the transmission. There is a supercharger kit for the 3L but it's still a prototype.

If your gunna do an engine swap I would say the 4.6 from the cobra.

As for the whole FWD RWD the fusions do come in a AWD setup like mine so I don't think that it would be to much of an issue with RWD

you could put any engins/tranny combo in that you want, IF money is no problem. I say if money is no problem, drop a bugatti engine in it.
