You would have to get an add-on module to have a starter, that is more trouble than its worth, just get a starter/alarm combo if thats what you want. This is perfect for older carb cars or sticks, or if you dont care about remote start and just need to know your shit is getting messed with. 99vic Posted April 16, 2010 Report Share Posted April 16, 2010 i had this alarm, got it new iirc 2 or 3 years ago..if your not into all the remote start stuff, mine locked/unlocked the doors had ignition kill and trunk release. did everything i needed it to. if you know how to install it its really good. viper alarm for 76ish bucks.
