I'am an electrician, but before testing was hoping someone just "knew" what these were, especially if they go to the Brain, or air bag system- no yellow coding, so I'am pretty sure Iam safe..... What I want to do is place my mirror/window/lock controls in my center console I will be modifying here soon. The black box pretty much seems to have the same color coding as the passenger door, and since the plug is on the right/pass side, assuming there is a connection? There is a box close by, maybe these plug in to the box, saying "Body Controls" Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. ktm300 Posted April 11, 2010 Report Share Posted April 11, 2010 Are you trying to move that? It is the body control module, I don't know why GM put it there. I think the airbag control module is farther up and is the one with the yellow convoluted tubing. You also have to run everything to the actual switches on the door, or nothing will work. B Slaps Posted April 11, 2010 Report Share Posted April 11, 2010 (edited) i dont see it being a problem doing that. all you would have to do is maybe run the wires a little longer so that they will reach. same thing as relocating heater control which i still have to do. edit: just make sure you keep the plastic things that make the shit work. cause your gonna need those. just glass them into the center consol. easy shit.
