i looked up the orion page and this is what the manual says:

"Tall, wide, balanced, NBR Foam (high density expanded polyester foam)

surround for linear controlled long excursion using a Tri Radius symmetrical

edge design optimized on non-linear FEA."

i dont understand what is meant by NBR-Foam.

maybe someone who owns the hcca can tell me?

i have 2 orion 15.2 and yes they are foam. looks like they added another chemical to make it stiffer and look like a rubber surround. thats what that NBR shit is.
