fecupe2001 Posted February 24, 2012 Author Report Posted February 24, 2012 Updating a little bit, sadly this build haven´t got too much attention from you guys because it´s been FUN as hell hahaha, i should change the topic´s title to DC audio subs so it gets more visits lol Anyways, i metered the sexplorer a few hours ago, it´s time for me to say, that i seriously doubt there´s someone else on the planet as loud as the explorer is using sony xplod subs, at least i haven´t seen anyone... YET , you never know hehe. Still 1 battery, still same subs, still pounding them like hell without any problems, new score on the Soundstream XXX 4000.1 wired at 1 ohm, wich is 4K @ 16v , i haven´t clamp it yet, but i´m pretty sure subs are getting no more than 500 watts a piece after impedance rise and voltage drops Sealed on the dash!! Driver´s door open!!! Peak went up from 46 to 48 hz, lost a little bit of output below 37 hz , still moves a lot of air around 45 hz, might try to get at least a small hairtrick very soon, also, bass raced a perfect 149.9 two times in a row , not bad for 90$ subs on small power and a single battery I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
