Team-Atomic-Andrew
he is saying that if his car is soooo crappy and it fails smog, if he spends 400 repairing it and its still crappy, does it not have to pass inspection

MACnonsence6
no im not saying my car is crappy that a dick move to say so i googled it and found out that it does in fact exist Inspection Waiver. A vehicle that is required to have the OBDII inspection can qualify for a waiver if: The vehicle fails the OBDII inspection, but passes the safety inspection, the gas cap check, and the visual inspection of the emission control devices, and The vehicle receives repairs that are related to the failure of the OBDII inspection and the cost of the repairs is at least $450, and The vehicle does not pass the OBDII inspection during a reinspection. wildbeast15
if you dont pass inspection 3 times in ny they take your vehicle... if your vehicle is older than 13 years old at the time of the inspection your exempt from smog either way Edited April 14, 2010 by wildbeast15 Quote The set up your talking about would sound great in my Tahoe. Trade you my dog for it. He has one eye but that only makes for bad depth perception so hey so what if he is running into shit, look at it this way he is easy to sneak up ninja style on.
