You might be a Redneck if you use your leftover gutters for a speaker box port...

9 times out of 10 you'll forget to turn that off.

very true. but would it just be giving power to the led with the car off? or the amp still sucking power?

It will always be drawing power.

Like my amp has a 3A idle draw, which means it draws three amps just being turned on.

will go back out and look...Got to my ignition column and there was a block/harness that had 5V written on it in red marker. Havent put the DMM on it yet but im guessing that means 5 volt. Wondering what these wires could be.

To the suggestion of the switch. I have horrible memory, and always forget shit, but hey, that happens i guess. I would always forget to turn that thing off.

9 out of 10 times if you cant find a acessory wire its because the vehicle uses the data bus cable for the acessory. I am not 100% sure if it does but I am leaning that it does, just because most newer vehicles do. There is a easy way to determine this if your door chime runs through the door speakers then theres the problem.

I am going to tell you this through experience if you have a data bus wire and say fuck it and pull a acessory lead from some where else you are going to FUCK youre car up. The pcm constantly communicates with the radio and if you go ripping shit out and rigging the wires you will eventually burn up the pcm so I highly recomend you find a vehicle specific harness for this, it may be a bit difficult cause its a 2010.

There is no data bus to the HU. It had 2 regular pin connectors in the back.
