Team Nemesis-DJ
Yes ,you do run <well i do>run equal amount of power as i do negative ...due to most cars/trucks being unibody design
fecupe2001
Well, i did it like that, 2 runs of + and 2 runs of - from front battery to the first battery on the back, from that one to the next one, and from there to the amp. My batteries are one on each side of the box so i couldn´t get a battery bank with some buss bars, but they are working great!! (Maybe a stupid question but I need to know) For my set up I connected them in parallel like that and it hasnt done wrong by me. When connecting in Parallel you are doubling the capacity (amp hours) of the battery while maintaining the voltage of one of the individual batteries. Neo_frog
It's a good practice to run multiple wires from front to back to 'up' the ampacity of your potential draw. This is generally dependent on the size of the amp(s) and size of the alternator(s) but it's never a bad idea to have a little overkill. And like DJ said, due to the unibody design it's better to run as many negative wires as positive. Quote Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions?
