cgrez33
For the AQ3500.1 It says upgraded electrical, does this necessarily mean an upgraded alternator? Gutta Trash
For the AQ3500.1 It says upgraded electrical, does this necessarily mean an upgraded alternator? not necessarily, but big 3 and extra batt with what you have should be sufficient if you are not running a lot of other accessories Quote On 4/20/2010 at 10:06 PM, 'cc_audio' said: Guys are just like girls, once you've had 18 inches you don't go back. 2004 GMC Yukon XL Pioneer AVH-X4700BS 13 band EQ Sub Amp- (2) PPI 5000BD.1 (2) Re SXX 15's 8 cu. ft. box tuned to 32 Hz (4) 6.5 Bose Mids (2) 1" Bose Tweets (2) 1.5" Bose Tweets (1) JY 80 AH w/ new JY busses (1) Duracell 750 up front Apex Alternators 270 A.C. cgrez33
I have the big 3 upgrade, Batcap 400, and optima yellowtop. So assuming I'm going with the AQ. I should be fine? That settles the amplifier. Subwoofers, I guess its now on DC Lvl 5. IA DP's. or DD's 3512's. Price range for DC's or DD's? Anyone got any info for a right sized enclosure? I'm sorry for the hassle I'm really into bass, and am learning on my own, any helps appreciated. Thanks. Drek75633
The Death Penalty series can take 2000 watts of power (clean) easy. As far is additional accesories. I would recommend putting a good layer of second skin or so all over the trunk if you are putting it in a trunk. Then do a layer or two of Rhinoliner and that will keep cancellation from happening. As far as the box goes. If you are doing 2 12's. I would say that 3.5 cubes at 35 hz with 100-140 sq in of port. Hope the build goes well for you. hdorre
If you're getting at AQ3500D then a fully loaded fi btl would work. Just get a dual 1 ohm fully loaded sub and wire it up to 2 ohms. It'll be better on your electrical at 2 ohms than 1. That way, if you want another btl after you upgrade the electrical, you could use the same amp and wire it to 1 ohm with the two woofers. I'd go with either a btl, xl, or level 5..whichever is cheapest Edited April 22, 2010 by hdorre Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
