Boon Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 They are so shitty. I see some curious comments from you, I'm not sure you have any idea what you're talking about. There's nothing inherently wrong with the D9. It's better than anything you own, to be honest. The RD3250v1 or whatever it was is what ruined RD's reputation. 10.x volts fo' life!

Yes the D9 looks good. Yes D9 promises great power. Yes Ive seen the D9s tested they went in JPs truck. I have it on video. It did draw goob of power. But I wasnt impressed with the output. Maybe its me. They had two of these hooked up to about 4 Kinetik 2400 and about 8 deka 800CA batteries. Maybe thats not enuff. Kept draining the batteries in 2 seconds. 98 Chevy Blazer 4 Door Stock Everything The New Setup 1 - Pioneer AVH-P5200DVD 1- Pioneer DEH-80PRS 2 - Blues Audio 5.25 Mids ( On the dash ) 2 - Blues Audio BL8.0C Components ( In the front doors ) 2 - Blues Audio BL8.0 Woofers ( In the rear doors ) 1 - Linear Power 952 ( Dash ) 1 - Linear Power 2202IQ Modified ( Components ) 1 - Linear Power 3002 ( Rear Doors ) 1 - SoundStream XBP-10 Processor 1 - SoundStream BX-20Z 2 - SoundStream DTR1.3400D 4 - RE Audio SX12D4

I agree i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

etaks_crew Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 I believe it was the RD 3250V2 that ruin the name. Not the V1, the V1 is the same as the first sundown 3k's and DC 3k's also some other 3k amps. But I from what I've seen the D9's I've heard are a good amp.
