Lowering The Front End Of An 01 Explorer Sport

I have a 2001 explorer SPORT and the rear is already lowered due to 400+ pounds in the back, and I wana drop the front a few inches but have no idea how to do it. Everybody I go to says it can't be done because of the gas shocks that are on it, and I can't find a kit for it ANYWHERE. So if I could get some Idea of how to go about it, Id appreciate it.

if its the same as a sport trac then turn the torsion.HTH

yeah go under the truck you will see the torsion screws untighten those i have air ride so doing it on my truck didnt do shit lmao but waste 30 min other then that... your problem is solved not sure. but if i did my studying right your going to get camber and have to realign ??

buy the drop torsion keyways from AIM and get under it and bolt them in took me about 2 hours once i got brave enough to use the puller to hold the keyways up.

yea even 18s a lil big for my taste but the width is what i was after 285
