That would be a good start. That amp will be ok. If you can find a little bigger amp it would be better for the future. It will leave you room to expand in the future.

im trying to keep it under a $1000, iv already bought an alpine cde-103bt head unit for $200

For that price you can build a really decent system far exceeding the jl setup you were looking at.
