mbdblue
I turned on my comp today and this "security warning" keeps popping up. I think something got inplanted into my comp so it keeps telling me all these files are infected and wants me to buy this goddamn internet security pack. it wont let me open my regular security (Avira) and as we speak, is continuing to give me alerts with little yellow shields in the bottom of my screen...theres about 15 of them now. I tried to go into safe mode, it doesnt do it in there which is nice. But I can't find it in there. I tried to bring up my ctrl-alt-delete screen too to see if I can end it as a process, but it blocks that too. the window appears for 2 seconds then disappears and I get another warning. anyone know what I can do to make it stop? Hellbound Train
I had to deal with a Trojan like that on my cousins computer. It took a lot of scanning with antivirus and malware softwares to get rid of the shit. It wasnt long after logging on to the computer it would start and would block everything like you were saying. I had to start scanning and running the malware software as soon as the desktop and such started coming up. Was a bitch but we got it. I just used the avast we had installed plus free malware softwares from download.com. Couldnt go to any sites with internet explorer. No control panel. No ctrl alt delete. Hardly anything could be done before fixing it. Edited April 27, 2010 by Hellbound Train
