So I want to design a box for my equipment. Port in the middle (3"x12.5"x15" tuned to 35), a little less height on box, a little more depth on box, 45's on all edges. If i flare my port say an inch on the mouth will it affect my output. I would like this to be a great box please help with the flares. tdc3187 Posted April 29, 2010 Author Report Posted April 29, 2010 Threw some numbers around today, I came up with a 9" port mouth, 3" port, right above 2.1 cubes per 12 after sub, port, bracing, etc. I'll post a autocad pic in a little bit. Internal measurements are 38.5*17.17*12.5=4.94cubes. minus .32 for subs and .406 for the port is 4.2 total. As long as I don't have any issues with the port this time i'll be ok. pic...
