My dad fronts me money when I need a little extra cash to buy stuff, course he never really asks specifically. He always like, what is this for? I said car audio, he goes ahh of course. Always pay him back though. But some parents are just like that. If he is just completely intolerant the only thing you can do is try and hide it from him until you aren't under his roof anymore. If you are in his house, than it's his rules plain and simple. But that doesn't mean you should sacrifice your passion for car audio, because it's not like it's hurting anyone. Last summer I prolly made 3-4 grand cash doing side jobs. Now I work at a big shop in my home town. So I was right . I'm 22 now and I moved out @ 18 so they didn't really have much to bitch about, and I always bought my own cars too. lower tuning is just hard. I have a good ammount of cash in the bank, and Im not going to blow it all. I spend wiseley, and if I buy something big, or spend a lot one day, I rebuild that with my job then buy something new to add. I don't just blow it all like some people. 2006 Nissan Z Track. I had to do it...... It worked out well for me. Though my dad has never been against my hobbies, he was a little against audio for a while.
