Freshman6969 Posted May 1, 2010 Author Report Share Posted May 1, 2010 oh and can i mix match wiring? as in i used the whole 30ft of the wire i got from my kit for my 2 front doors, so would it be alright to go nd use a diffrent brnd for the bck 2? Alex K Posted May 1, 2010 Report Share Posted May 1, 2010 So you got a 4 ch amp correct? You should have 3 sets of rca inputs on it. Front, rear, and output. You get your fading from the 2 sets of inputs (front and rear). You should have 2 sets of rcas from the back of the HU, one thats on the "front" connected to the "front" on the input on the amp, and another set wired from the "rear" on the HU, to the "rear" input on the amp. As long as its the proper and same size wire it doesnt matter what brand u use u could have different types of 12-14 guage running to each seprate speaker and it wont matter.
